Doctor of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona (1993). In 1985 she began collaborating with LIOS (Laboratory of Operational Research and Simulation) that merged with the UPC working groups to create PROMALS (Mathematics, Logistics and Simulation Programming) in 1997.
