María Paz Linares Herreros

Maria Paz Linares holds a degree in mathematics from the UPC and has completed the Master in Logistics, Transport and Mobility at the UPC with a final project dedicated to the problem of vehicle routes with backhaul clients. In 2005, he joined as a traffic researcher at the PROMALS research group of the Statistics and Operations Research Department, extending his activity in 2008 as associate professor of the same department. In 2014 he obtained the Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research (UPC) with a thesis devoted to traffic-based allocation patterns based on mesoscopic simulation. Currently, he works on projects related to dynamic traffic models: development of simulation models and their application to optimize traffic and transport problems.
