Silvia Llorente

Dra. Silvia Llorente Viejo is teacher and lecturer at the Department of Computer Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has been active in the field of Privacy, Security, e-Services and Content Digital Rights Management (multimedia content, medical records and genomic information) for more than fifteen years. Its main areas of research are the definition of rules and mechanisms to protect the privacy of digital content of all kinds. She is the author of several scientific articles and other publications presented in international conferences and journals and has participated in numerous projects with companies and other institutions. He is an assessor of the European Commission and various Ministries of the Spanish Government. Participates actively in the standardization activities of various ISO committees, such as MPEG and JPEG.
